Family Connection continues a media campaign to educate the community about underage drinking and reducing the rate of underage consumption. We are working on a Positive Social Norms Campaign to change the perception that “Everybody Drinks.” The idea is that if students are educated about the fact that most students do not drink, they will make the choice not to participate as well.
Students recently participated in a focus group to develop posters for the Positive Social Norms campaign. The posters were designed to show survey results indicating most students at Union County High do not drink. After making changes suggested by the students, the posters will be placed at the High School.
