The data confirms that Georgia’s investments in children and families—and our unrelenting commitment to improve the well-being of children and families in every community across our statewide network—are paying off. We must continue to work together to build a strong social infrastructure and evaluate our progress, and we must continue to invest in our most valuable resource—children and families. The release also gives us an opportunity to promote the 2020 Census. Full participation is imperative for all Georgians, because an undercount will put billions of dollars at risk for our state and underfund needed programs.
