UC Family Connection has been able to participate each year of the Backpack 2 School Bash and this 8th year was amazing! 456 children are set for the start of school. Families enjoyed a “shopping” experience for supplies, lunch, popcorn, snow cones, crafts, face painting, bounce houses and the support of a community during this special day. A new addition this year was the Lions Club, who gave free vision screenings for children and adults! Thanks to the generosity of The Backpack 2 School Bash, all supplies left at the end of the day will be available at the Family Connection office.
