What a fun time we had at Sorghum in the Mountains! A huge thanks to Rick’s Rental for sharing the idea and providing the equipment to allow us to do a fundraiser for UC Family Connection and Union/Towns Special Olympics. We raised over $1,000 to better serve students and families right here in our county. Our 50/50 raffle was $350 so our winner Craig Young received $175. Craig donated his winnings back to Family Connection. A huge thank you to him for that kindness. Michael Card has bragging rights and a prize for the top speed for the event @ 21.98 seconds. Great job Michael! Thank you to the volunteers for manning the table and all of you who donated. Thanks for hosting a great event Sorghum in the Mountains.
